Meet the Founder!
Damien Fraser
Founding Visionary
I started this journey because I believe in the power of unheard voices. Through my own experiences and challenges in life, I’ve realized that real stories—raw, authentic, and relatable—have the ability to connect us in ways that few things can. That belief inspired me to create Routes Connected Collective, a space where stories from diverse perspectives are shared, and where ideas and experiences can resonate with anyone navigating life’s ups and downs.
Alongside our storytelling efforts, the Rest Stops Campaign focuses on building positive habits for mental and physical well-being—small steps that can make a big difference. We are only getting started, but our goal is to grow organically, creating real impact without shortcuts, and inspiring others to push forward even when life recalibrates and the challenges feel overwhelming.
Through our podcasts, campaigns, and collaborations, we hope to offer a mix of insight, inspiration, and authenticity—welcoming everyone who wants to join us in learning, reflecting, and moving forward together.
A Little More About Me
I live somewhere between being a people person and a quiet observer. I’m very much en route myself, and that’s a big reason this project exists—to help people feel less alone, whether they’re just starting a chapter or finding their footing at the end of one.
This project comes from a season of realignment in life and my creative focus. I’ve explored a range of creative outlets, drawn to storytelling that feels honest and grounded. I gravitate toward everyday content—vlogs over scripted shows, honesty over polish. I’m inspired by creators like Roman Atwood, alongside those in the automotive space who document passion, process, and progress.
I’m still figuring things out as I go, balancing the urge to just start with the tendency to overthink. I’m driven by a constant push to improve—creating better journeys, more meaningful experiences, and growth beyond where I once was. My hope is that this space feels easy and welcoming, a reminder that you don’t have to have everything mapped out to keep moving forward. Life doesn’t always follow a plan, but having outlets, people, and passions along the way can make the road feel less heavy.
You’re welcome here, wherever you are on your journey.
